Europe's Volunteer AI Network
AmplifAI connects AI professionals with small and medium-sized businesses — entirely on a volunteer basis. No consulting fees. No vendor lock-in. Knowledge, shared freely.
Become a FellowAmplifAI is a 100% volunteer-driven AI transfer network. Inspired by successful open-source communities, it connects qualified AI professionals — data engineers, machine learning specialists, compliance experts, and communicators — directly with small and medium-sized businesses across Europe.
There are no consulting fees, no commercial interests, no vendor dependencies. Fellows contribute their time and expertise on a pro-bono basis, guided by the principle that knowledge should flow freely to where it is needed most.
The network operates through specialized working circles covering operations, community building, matchmaking, and communications — all governed transparently and democratically by its members.
Europe's AI adoption tells two very different stories. Large enterprises have the capital, infrastructure, and specialists to move fast. Small and medium-sized businesses are falling behind — not because they lack ambition, but because they lack access.
Over 70% of SMEs that considered AI adoption but abandoned it cite a lack of relevant expertise as the decisive obstacle. The pressure is mounting from an unexpected direction: not from regulators, but from the market itself.
Large clients, insurers, and investors are already requiring supply-chain AI compliance documentation. Businesses that are not prepared will lose market position — quietly, and fast. AmplifAI breaks this cycle by transferring practical knowledge directly to where financial resources for expensive consulting are absent.
AmplifAI's mission is grounded in a clear philosophy: AI should augment human capability, not substitute it. The network promotes Supportive AI — where intelligent systems handle repetitive, data-intensive tasks while humans retain validation, creative problem-solving, and meaningful judgment.
Real value creation happens not through replacement, but through workflow redesign: letting humans and machines each do what they genuinely do best.
The longer-term goal is a digitally sovereign Europe: a continent where SMEs in Bucharest have the same access to AI literacy as those in Copenhagen, where open-source infrastructure replaces vendor dependency, and where the benefits of technological progress reach every corner of the single market.
As an AmplifAI Fellow, you join a growing movement of technologists, engineers, data scientists, legal specialists, and communicators who believe AI expertise should be a public good — not a luxury reserved for the largest companies.
Fellows choose their own level of commitment:
Fellows receive official certificates, access to exclusive training on ethical AI and EU AI Act compliance, invitations to closed network events and hackathons, and international visibility through the network's awards program.
